Most people try to lose weight or fix something that they don't like. I don't think I'm fixing anything. I've decided to try new things. What kind of new things? I'm going to try forgiving myself when I do something "bad" such as overindulging. I'm going to try organizing my time better, but always keeping in mind that I can forgive myself. I'm going to try and set an intention for each and every day and then reflect on it. (For the past two days, my intention was to have fun...and I did. :) )
I've recently been undergoing a training at work about a wildly important goal (or WIG) that the company has set and how we're planning on following through with it. Do individuals have WIGs? If not, why don't we? We are certainly worth it. If I were to think of a WIG, I think it would be to enjoy each and every day. How often do we wish away our lives by living solely for the weekends and holidays? How much do we miss when we're thinking about when we get to punch out? The past two days of my set intentions have shown me that I miss a lot when I focus on when I get to leave. Live in the moment; life is a gift that is why it is called the present.
